On the final day of his 2-day visit to Israel on Thursday (February 26, 2026), Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to hold delegation level talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and exchange MoUs with the country. Addressing the Knesset on Wednesday (February 25, 2026), PM Modi condemned the October 7 Hamas attack as a “barbaric terrorist attack”, and said “we feel your pain, we share your grief”. “India stands with Israel firmly with full conviction in this moment,” PM Modi said. He supported the Gaza Peace Initiative, saying it is necessary to “sustain” the process of peace building in the region.
